Helen is a northern artist from Sheffield. After years of exhibiting, she and her late husband Simon decided they wanted to settle down from moving around and build a Gallery to exhibit her work in - a lifelong dream of theirs. After doing so, she now lives above The Gallery, which is in a converted old cooperative building. Since losing Simon this year, she has decorated her home as a little escape from the world, with birds climbing up the walls and spared no extravagance in gold-leafing everything she can. Here she sits reading one of her favourite books in her ‘birdy’ room.

As they grew up they came to faith and it helped them become clean and mend their relationship. They now work as part of an Eden team, being a voice of redemption in their community.

I was shooting a music video for my friend Ben Haydn up in the Peak District when I spotted him leaning on the car staring off at the view. I think we both long to be out in nature.
Jamie’s life was falling apart, he was in the cycle of drug addiction, and was on the verge of taking his own life. Today he has a stable job, a loving wife and a beautiful baby girl. Jamie owes this to his journey of faith and being supported by fellow Christians.
Keren is my wife. Keren loves the sea, but we live in Macclesfield. Sometimes she paints so the sea feels a bit closer to home.
Sharon is a member of the Community Grocery in Sharston, one of a chain of other shops across the country that is helping support food needs in the cost of living crisis. Over 43,000 families now rely on these low cost weekly shops and access to free support such as job clubs and money management support.
Ben Haydn is a spoken word artist, rapper and musician. Over time we’ve become good friends thanks to our love of skateboarding, the outdoors and pizza.
